Information you give us
You can browse this site and read everything on it without giving us any personal information. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us through one of our two forms.
The contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, a description of what you need, and how you heard about us.
The commercial customer account form collects the information needed to open a business account: company name, sales agent if you have one, a billing address with billing contact name, email and phone, a service address with an on-site contact name, email and phone, and your hours of operation.
Both forms are delivered to us by email at info@localgroup.ca through FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service that passes the message on and does not use it for its own purposes. We use what you send us to answer your enquiry or to set up your account. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records non-identifying technical information such as the pages requested, browser type, operating system, approximate time spent on the site, and the IP address the request came from. We use it to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect that information. These services set cookies, which are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Local Group Industries may have to provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or a contravention of law, or where otherwise required by law. We may also disclose personal information where it is needed to collect a debt owed to us.

This site links out to the websites of our five divisions and, occasionally, to other organisations. Those sites are operated separately and have their own privacy policies, which we recommend you read. We have no control over them and are not responsible for how they collect, use or disclose your information.
